Less than a month ago our colleague in Philippines went to Agusan in Mindanao upon the request of a certain mountain chieftain. We call him Datu Maghuhukum.

His tribe Manobo Tribe has ancestral lands and they were given special permit to mine copper ore.

As per investigation they can deliver at least 500 to 1000MT of copper ore per month with quality grade of 15% to 25% Cu. Rejection grade is below 15%. Because no one buys below 15%. Unless you have buyer of 7% to 14% Cu.

They have stockpile of about 180MT. However sorted with good quality is only 60MT ready for shipment.

That means 3 containers van.

They wanted to ship this 60MT so that they could generate funds to sort out the balance of 120MT and to pay for the cost of delivery to vessel.

After this delivery we can deliver a minimum of 500MT to 1000MT per month.
